2-3.5 Actuation Hoses
The Actuation Hoses are used in multiple cylinder systems. Pressure is directed to the valve on
each agent cylinder using an actuation hose (see Figure 2-7, Figure 2-8, and Table 2-5). These
hoses include Quick Connect fitting for ease of installation and maintenance. The grove on the
festo connector provides additional grip surface when the connector is installed into the mated
connection.
Note: During discharge, a continuous pressure of 8 bar is required in the actuation hose. This
pressure is supplied from the Agent cylinder.
