AC3000
AC3000 locking segment (up to Nov. 2013), 1 hole AC3000 locking segment, 2 holes
The locking segment of the AC3000 has been changed so that the contact surface of the locking segment in
the neck of cardan system is approx. 1 mm larger.
• If old locking segments (approx. 10.5 mm height, 1 drill hole) are still used, replace them with the new
locking segments (height ≥ 11.8 mm, 2 drill holes).
• Make sure the locking segment has a minimum thickness of 1.9 mm. Otherwise, or in case of visible
signs of abrasion, the locking segment must be replaced.
Onda Space
• When using the Onda Space, make sure the locking segment has a minimum thickness of 3.5 mm.
Otherwise, or in case of visible signs of abrasion, the locking segment must be replaced.
Final steps
• Ensure that the contact surface is sufficiently greased when installing the locking system, e.g. using
RENOLIT AS, see section 4.5 “Greasing”, page 19.
• Reinstall locking segment.
Only now is the second person allowed to let go of the suspended load.
• Slide securing sleeve over the locking segment and attach locking screw.
