If the value indicated in (Fig. 114) is not obtained, steps (5) to (9) are to be carried out.

(5) Unscrew the hexagon nut (Fig. 115/1) on the eccentric shaft (4) and replace it with a
new one.
(6) Push a socket wrench onto the hexagon (3) and turn the eccentric shaft (4) in the re-
quired direction.
Information!
The directions for “tight” and “loose” are given on plate (2).
(7) Tighten the hexagon nut (1) with 3.3 Nm, holding the eccentric shaft (4) firmly to prevent
it from turning.
(8) Measure the toothed belt tension again as described in steps 2 to 4.
(9) Repeat the measuring and adjustment procedure if necessary until the value in Fig. 114
is obtained.
