(3) Mark the position of the manipulator in relation to the working envelope (Fig. 50/1) on
the concrete foundation (2).
(4) Move manipulator to the installation position.
(5) Align the manipulator horizontally.
Information!
If the bedplates are not fully seated on the concrete foundation (Fig. 53/4), this can re-
sult in distortion or loosening of the mounting base. Fill any gaps with leveling com-
pound (2). To do this, lift the manipulator again and apply sufficient leveling compound
to the underside of the bedplates. Then set the manipulator down again and align it,
removing any excess leveling compound. Allow the leveling compound to cure for about
3 hours. The curing time is longer at temperatures below 293 K (+20 °C).
The area (3) under the bolt (1) must be kept free from leveling compound.

Information!
At the end of the curing time, the anchor holes can be drilled.
(6) Drill six anchor holes (Fig. 54/5) through the holes of the bedplates; depth in concrete
110 mm.
(7) Clean the anchor holes by blowing them out, brushing them and then blowing them out
again.
(8) Insert six resin capsules (4).
(9) Insert one threaded rod (3) into each anchor hole (5). To do this, secure the setting tool
(2) in a hammer drill (1), attach the threaded rod, and insert it in the anchor hole at max.
750 r.p.m. The threaded rod is set correctly if the resin is completely mixed and the an-
chor hole in the concrete is completely filled to the upper edge. If the anchor hole is not
completely filled, the threaded rod must be pulled out again immediately and a new resin
capsule inserted.
(10) Allow the resin to cure.
The curing time is as follows:
Temperature T ime:
293 K (+20 °C) 20 minutes
283 K (+10 °C) 30 minutes
273 K (0 °C) 1 hour
268 K (--5 °C) 5 hours
