•MuteGroups/ViewGroups/GroupAssign—Thesebuttonswilllimitaccesstothecorresponding
groupcontrolsandgraythemout.That’stheshortversion.Let’stakeacloserlookatthesethree
access limits in detail, starting on the far right with group assign.
•GroupAssign—Oncetheuserhasconguredthechannelsassignedtothemuteand
view groups, enable the group assign limit to prevent any changes to those assignments.
The band will still be able to enable and disable mute masters and view groups, but they
won’tbeabletomakechangestothemuteandviewselectgroupassignments.Slick!
•MuteGroups—Enablingthemutegroupslimitbuttonwillpreventaccesstothemute
group masters. This is useful for when FOH may need to use mute groups for the show,
buttheydon’twantthebandmembersaccidentally(orpurposefully!)enablingamute
group with their iOS device.
•ViewGroups—Enablingtheviewgroupslimitbuttonwillpreventaccesstothe
viewgroupselects.Afterassigningchannelstothevariousviewgroups,selectthe
correspondingviewgrouponeachbandmember’siOSdeviceandenabletheview
groups access limits button so the band members can only view what channels pertain
tothem.It’sfoolproof...evenfortheleadsinger!Hardtobelieve,butit’strue.
