Incorporated in colour (and black & clear) Dye Film is an
electronic RFID protective Tag. When the Printer begins
its initialisation process, the Printer reads the Tag and
looks for the following info:
Ribbon Type
Remaining number of prints.
If it fails to read any of the data from the RFID protective
Tag, the Printer assumes it has single colour Film fitted.
Operate the top cover release catch and lift the cover.
Place the cassette into the 4 cradles (right side first) and press it into place. Ensure the gear (front right)
engages with the Spool.
Gently close the top cover until it clicks into the closed position.
The Printer will automatically recognise the type of Film that has been loaded by reading the film RFID Tag
as it initialises.
