Description of Problem
08:06
Error can be seen during printing of the Overcoat panel. If
no Tacho Sensor pulses or Dye Sensor transitions are
seen for at least 150 printed lines (this equates to roughly
150 ms) an error will be displayed.
08:07
Error can be shown during Dye-Film initialization. If the
print counter on the Dye-Film RFID Tag has reached its
limit the error will be displayed.
08:08
Error can be shown while carrying out the validation
checks that are done prior to printing a Card. If the print
counter on the Dye-Film RFID Tag has reached its limit
the error will be displayed. Note the printer has already
determined that the fitted Film is capable of being used for
the downloaded print job (for example, it has the required
colour format). Also note that this error can never occur
during magnetic encoding only jobs.
08:09
Error is shown while trying to advance the Dye Film to the
start of the next panel. If Tacho pulse are seen, but no
Dye Film sensor transitions occur for at least 5 seconds
the error will be displayed.
08:10
Error is shown while trying to advance the Dye Film to the
start of the next colour panel. If Dye Film Sensor
transitions are seen, but no Tacho pulses occur for at
least 5 seconds the error will be displayed.
08:11
Error can be shown while trying to advance the Film to the
start of the next colour panel. If Tacho and Dye Film
sensor transitions are seen, but the Dye Film Sensor
change does not stabilize within 5 seconds the error is
displayed. This could be due to counterfeit ribbon, or an
uncalibrated Dye Film Sensor (in which case the Dye Film
Sensor should be calibrated using the Printer menu).

Description of Problem
09
Unsupported Film, please load different Film to
continue.
09:00
Error can be shown while initialising the Dye Film. If the
fitted Dye Film has an unsupported configuration of colour
panels an error will be shown. A list of supported Dye
Films are:
Colour, Resin and Overcoat for full-colour prints
MA300YMCKO
Continuous single-colour Resin or scratch Film
MA1000K
Resin and Overcoat for monochrome prints, for example
MA600KO
Colour, Resin and Overcoat for colour/monochrome
duplex printing
MA250YMCKOK.
Note, this error means that the Dye-Film's RFID Tag was
successfully validated. The most likely scenario for this
error is the introduction of a new Film type which is
unknown to older Printer Firmware versions.
