GENERAL
This Manual provides important information concerning your
Grove Crane.
Overview of Manuals
Before placing the crane in service, take time to thoroughly
familiarize yourself with the contents of this manual. After all
sections have been read and understood, keep the manual
on the crane for future reference.
NOTE: Throughout this Manual, reference is made to left,
right, front, and rear when describing locations.
These reference locations are to be considered as
those viewed from the operator seat with the
superstructure facing forward over the front of the
carrier frame.
Engine and routine maintenance procedures are supplied in
separate manuals with each crane, and should be referred to
for detailed information. A separate safety manual is also
provided with each crane. See Safety Information, page 2-1
for other safety related issues.
Delivery Report
A Delivery Report must be filled out by the Manitowoc
distributor, signed by the purchaser, and returned to
Manitowoc Cranes once the crane is sold, leased or rented.
This report activates the warranty period, assuring that your
claims during the warranty period will be honored and
processed expediently. To guarantee full warranty service,
make sure your Manitowoc distributor has returned the
report to Manitowoc Cranes. An engine warranty form must
also be filled out, signed and returned to the engine
manufacturer for full warranty coverage.
