5.6.2. Retracting the booms
Ensure that the self-propelled machine is on the flat and stopped (zero speed and joystick at neutral)
and that the engine is running at 1 500 rpm.
Set switch to ON the indicator will light up.
Check that the extended boom is horizontal.
Push to the right to lock the entire boom in position.
Push to the left to retract the outer right arm.
Push to the right to retract the outer left arm.
Push
to the left or press
to activate the right boom and raise to maximum.
Push
to the right or press
to activate the left boom and raise to maximum.
Push upwards or press to raise the entire boom assembly.
Block the boom in position by rotating anti-clockwise.
Keep your finger on for 4 to 5 seconds to expand the nitrogen balls.
Push to the left to retract the main arms.
Push to the right or press to place the right boom on its support bracket.
Push to the left or press to place the left boom on its support bracket.
Keep your finger on ⑬⑭ for 4 to 5 seconds to well expand the nitrogen balls..
Set switch to OFF, the indicator will go out.
The boom is in the Road configuration.
REMINDER:
The booms must be extended and retracted with the engine running at 1 500 rpm.
Only use one switch at once to control boom manoeuvers.
Do not forget to expand the nitrogen balls to avoid the booms jumping on the support
plates with irregularities on the road and damage to the boom arms and support
brackets.
