X. SPRAYING
The self-propelled sprayer, M24D Hellios, is equipped with 2 lever-operated valves.
All functions (filling, incorporation, spraying, rinsing, transfer, etc.) are controlled using these 2 valves: one suction
valve and one discharge valve.
The suction valve is identified with letters.
The discharge valve is identified with figures.
Never exceed maximum service pressure: 4.5 bar.
THESE VALVES MUST ONLY BE OPERATED
WITH THE PUMP DISENGAGED
A flow chart shows all of the functions of these valves (a label showing this chart is affixed above the 2 valve levers):
2 B: external suction, incorporation, container rinsing, filling
2 A: main tank suction, incorporation
3 B: external suction, filling
1 A + R 0: main tank suction, intensive mixing (control valve completely open)
1 A: main tank suction, spraying, mixing
1 C + R 10: rinsing tank suction, boom rinsing (control valve completely closed)
5 C: rinsing tank suction, spray arms
5 A: main tank suction, spray arms
4 A: main tank suction, transfer
4 D: closed intakes, cleaning of the suction filter
Important: in position 4D, the pump must absolutely be disengaged
Other functions may be used (not listed in the flow chart) while complying with safety instructions.
1 B: external suction, boom
4 B: external suction, spray arm
5 B: external suction, external discharge
3 C: rinsing tank suction, main tank discharge
4 C: rinsing tank suction, external discharge
