Remove the cabinet front (see page 4-16).
Remove the two - 5/16 inch hex head
screws at the base of the washer near the
front, one on each side, that secure the
sides of the washer to the base.

Cabinet retainer
clip
Remove the two cabinet retainer clips inside
the console. Use a flat blade screwdriver
that is shorter than the control cover
assembly when inserted in the hole at the
front of the cabinet retainer clip.

Insert the screwdriver into the hole in the
washer top into the valley of the roll of the
retainer clip.

With slight pressure applied, push the
screwdriver down and the handle toward the
back of the cabinet to release the retainer
clip. Lift and rotate the cabinet retainer clip
up to remove it from the feature panel at the
back.

Two - 5/16 inch
hex head screws
To release the two plastic clips at the rear
of the washer insert a small flat blade
screwdriver behind the clip. Gently pull
forward to release the plastic tab from the
hole on either end of the clip.
