DIAGNOSIS AND TROUBLESHOOTING
IMPORTANT:
n Before opening the door, turn off the
washer.
n Do not open the door if the drum has not
completely stopped.
n Do not open the door if “TOO HOT” is
displayed.
n Do not open the door if any part of the
washer feels too warm.
n Do not open the door if there is water in the
drum.
Possible Cause
n A power outage.
Solution
n Make sure it is OK to open the door.
n Remove front panel.
n Reach over the edge of the front panel on
the door lock side.
n First push the emergency door opening
button, then turn the door handle right.
n Open the door.
Various messages may appear on the display
at the start, during, or at the end of a washing
cycle. In some cases, an audible signal will
alert the operator. When an error occurs, the
washer will automatically go to a safe state.
Use the Diagnostic Program to determine the
problem. This program will test the individual
functions of the washer one by one.
n If a failure occurs the computer will display a
diagnostic error message.
n The program number and step at which the
interruption has occurred are displayed.
n The Fault Message itself contains a number
and a corresponding text label by which it
is easy to find the related information in the
manual.
n If UNLOAD is displayed, the door can be
opened.

Err ZZZ: the number of the occurred error
Fault Message: the text label of the error
message
DOOR WILL NOT UNLOCK
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
