1. Remove the back panel. (See page 3-46)
2. The tub rotation sensor counts every time
the plate, on the pulley, goes past it.
3. To adjust the rotation sensor, loosen the
lock nuts and move the sensor into position.
The sensor should be approximately 1/16th
of an inch from the plate. Make sure the
plate will not hit the sensor.
4. Tighten the lock nut.
5. To remove the sensor, remove the rear most
nut and star washer.
6. Pull the sensor out of the mounting bracket.
TECH TIP: When replacing a failed
rotation sensor, cut the wire off near the
failed sensor. Disconnect the opposite
end connector at the control board (J_E).
Cut off the old connector. Wire tie the
new sensor cable along the existing wire
harness. Reconnect at the control board.
Adjust position as noted in step #3.
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
