PRE FEED Setting
The following automatic sheet feed items can be set to be performed after sheet detection.

OFF Sets the number of times the sheet is fed backward
and forward. Feeding the sheet increases the cutting
(or printing) quality.
• The feed count should be set to around 3 (times).
• Adjust the feed count setting to suit the type of
sheet used.
Feed length
(FEED LENG)
0.1 to 5.0m 0.3 Sets the length of sheet to be fed.
Feeding the length of sheet to be cut (or printed)
beforehand allows the sheet to adjust to the ambient
conditions and increases the cutting (or printing)
quality.
Waiting time
(TIME WAIT)
0 to 90 seconds 1 Sets the time from feeding the sheet until cutting (or
printing) starts.
OVER FEED ON/OFF OFF When cutting (or printing) two or more pages, feeding
the second sheet in advance increases the cutting (or
printing) efficiency when the waiting time has been
set.

• The feed count setting is displayed.

Use to select the setting, then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.
• Setting: OFF, 1 to 5

Repeat Step 5 to set any other items.
• Set all of the other items using the same procedure as in Step 5.

Press the [ENTER/HOLD] key once all of the items have been set.

Press the [END] key several times to exit.
• The settings are retained even when the power is turned off.
Preventing Uncut Media [OVER CUT/CORNER CUT]
Overlapping the start and end points can prevent the sheet from being left uncut. Configure this setting for
very flexible sheets. Setting too large a value will result in cut prints. Perform test cutting and adjust the
setting accordingly.
