3.4 Detect register marks.
Register marks can be detected using either full-automatic or semi-automatic detection.
Detect using semi-automatic detection in cases where TP1 is not at the bottom right of the sheet or when
using .
• Curled sheets must be uncurled first.
• If using cutting software that does not include register mark functions, use a sheet free of any
images or marks between TP1 and TP2 (A) and between TP1 and TP3 (B).
Checking Sheet Tilt Using the LED Pointer
Pushing the clamp lever to the rear illuminates the LED pointer. The carriage can also be moved left or right
by hand.
Using the track of the LED pointer, push the clamp lever to the rear and move the carriage between TP1 and
TP3 to check for sheet tilt. Adjust the sheet tilt using the track.
• The LED pointer automatically turns off if not used for more than five minutes.
