Detection time is reduced, but accuracy is also reduced.
Precision
(PREC)
Register mark lines are scanned bi-directionally and then re-scanned from a distance
before and after the lines to match the speed for response and determine the position
accurately.
Detection time increases, but accuracy also increases.

Sensor sensitivity setting [SENSOR LEVEL]
Setting Details
1 to 7 Check the sensitivity of the register mark sensor. Normally, set this to "4".
• If it cannot detect the register marks: Increase sensitivity.
• If it mis-detects the register marks: Decrease sensitivity.

Filled-in register mark setting [MARK FILL UP]
Setting Details
ON, OFF Set to [ON] when detecting register marks printed using the "Fill around the register
mark" function.
If the "Fill around the register mark" function is used, the register marks should be at
least 10 mm in size.
