Maintenance for white ink
White ink is easier precipitate than other inks.
• This machine has the circulation function to prevent white ink precipitation. If you consume white ink of 2cc and
more

every day, it is not necessary to perform white ink maintenance (white maintenance).
• When you do not use this machine for a long time, white ink may settle down within the printer. If white ink settled
down, it may cause nozzle clogging at drawing and you cannot draw normally.
• Even when you use this machine every day, ink in the cartridge may settle down. Shake the white ink cartridge
periodically by referring to the Step 6 in P.4-31.
• To prevent nozzle clogging and to keep the white ink status good at drawing, perform the following white
maintenance once every two weeks except when you use this machine every day.

Press the key in the local mode.

Select the [MAINTENANCE] by pressing the or
key, and press the key.

Select the [WHITE MAINTE] by pressing the or
key, and press the key.

Select executing white maintenance or not for each head,
and press the key.
(1) Select the head with the key.
(2) Select executing (displays the head No.) or not executing (displays “_”) of white maintenance with
the key.

Pull out the two white ink cartridges from the ink
station.
• When the two white ink cartridges are pulled out, white ink
discharge operation starts. (When the ink set is “W CL”, pull
out the white ink cartridge and the clear ink cartridge.)
*1.For your reference, 2cc is equivalent to four times of normal cleaning or fifteen times of 10cm x 10cm solid printing.
• Use the specified ink cartridge.
