Image Optimization 5-7
Impacts The greater the number of focus, the slower the frame rate to image.
Imaging Display Adjustment
Description More information can be obtained without moving the probe or changing
the sampling position.
FOV (Field
of View)
Change the scan range through the [FOV] item in the soft menu or menu.
The system provides four levels of scan range: W, N, M1, and M2.
You can get a much larger field of view when selecting a larger FOV, but
the frame rate will decrease.
FOV
Position
Change the scan position through the [FOV Position] item in the soft menu
or menu.
When the scan range is "W”, the FOV position cannot be changed.
B Steer This function is to steer the beam transmitted by the probe.
Steer the transmitting beam through the [B Steer] item in the soft menu or
menu.
The steering angles provided are: -6, 0, and 6.
Trapezoid Turn on or off the function through [Trapezoid] item in the soft menu or
menu.
You can define user-defined key for trapezoid function in "[Setup] →
[System Preset] → [Key Config]".
ExFOV To increase the maximum FOV range of convex probe.
Turn on or off the function through [ExFOV] item in the soft menu or menu.
You can define user-defined key for the function in "[Setup] → [System
Preset] → [Key Config]".
Impacts The FOV position is available only for the convex and phased probes.
The B Steer and Trapezoid function are available only for linear probes.
ExFOV function is available only for convex probes.
Line Density
Description The function determines the quality and information of the image.
Operation Adjust through the [Line Density] item in the soft menu or menu.
There are three levels of line density available: M, H, L, UH.
Effects The higher the line density, the higher the resolution, and the lower the
frame rate.
Dynamic Range
Description This function is used to adjust the B image resolution to compress or
expand the gray display range.
The real-time dynamic range value is displayed on the image parameter
area in the upper left corner of the screen.
Operation Adjust through the [Dyn Ra.] item in the soft menu or menu.
Or adjust it in the image parameter area.
The adjusting range is 30-160dB in increments of 5dB.
