7. Function and operation
71. External control input signal and contact output signal
The instrument is available to the external control through various kinds of input signals.
711. Input signal for external control
Activates by shortening with COM.1 (Terminal No. 8).

9 ZERO When the indicated value on load display is within 10 % against the
maximum display value, zero set function will activate by the
operation and make the display “0” compulsively. (Same key
operation in the paragraph 631.) As for the operational details,
refer to the paragraph 712.
10 HOLD While inputting the signal, the target selected with Function F10
among display, contact output, analog output and options will be
frozen. As for the operational details, refer to the paragraph 79.
11 PEAK
/TRACK
/A/Z
Changeover of track value and peak holding value.
Moreover, when the A/Z function is selected with F70, it executes
the tare weight cancellation.(A/Z ON)

12 RESET
/A/Z OFF
During the peak hold operation, the reset condition is made by short
circuit. And tare weight cancellation clear(A/Z OFF) when A/Z
function is selected with F70.
8 COM.1 The common for the input signal (Terminal No. 9 to 12)
Operation of input signal will be executed after shortening for more
than 100 ms approximately.
Only A/Z and the A/Z OFF function are pulse input, and it is effective
once in the pulse width of 100 ms or more.
When the ZERO signal(or the key on the front panel) is
input while inputting the HOLD signal, the operation of ZERO is
executed simultaneously with the release of the HOLD signal.
When the HOLD signal is input in the status of power supply OFF,
and the power supply is turned on, it is displayed in load display panel
as HOLD”. The load is displayed simultaneously with the release of
the HOLD signal.
The COM. 1 (terminal No. 8) and the COM.2 (terminal No. 13) are
isolated.
