All ribbons must be stored in a cool, not-too-dry location. They have an
expiry date, so you must be careful not to order too many at one time. We
suggest a six-month supply at most, and make sure you use the oldest stock
first.
The alternate colored hopper wipers in the list are used for special processing
jobs. Unless your service person recommends an alternate, use the standard
white wiper.
Please ensure that only NCR authorized media is used on the equipment.
This includes encoder ribbons, ink for ink jets, etc. Failure to do so can cause:
• premature equipment failures
• higher maintenance costs
• lowered document throughput and higher overall processing costs
• equipment downtime
When replacing a Graphical Endorser ink cartridge, ensure that the new
cartridge has reached room temperature before using it. The cartridge will
not work properly if it is cold. When handling a Graphical Endorser ink
