Merge Hopper

To remove a jammed document from the merge hopper, just pull the
document up.
If the document is difficult to remove, you may want to loosen the wiper as
follows:
1 Remove the cabinet cover that is just to the right of the merge hopper
(it pulls up and off).
2 Push the wiper lever away from the document and hold it there while
you lift the document out.
3 Replace the cover.
Note: Once you have removed a jammed document from the hopper, repair
it as necessary before trying to process it again. (See “Repairing Damaged
Documents” on page 2-2.)
