Graphical Endorser

The graphical endorser module lies to the right of the encoder module. The
endorser module contains either:
• one rear endorser OR
• one rear endorser and one front endorser.
Compare your transport with the picture to see how your endorser module
is equipped.
Each of these endorsers is actually a high-speed ink-jet printer. The endorsers
are used to print various information on documents, typically to meet legal
requirements.
Taking Care of the Endorsers

Just before an ink cartridge runs dry, the transport stops moving documents,
and a message appears on the transport monitor. For instructions on replacing
ink cartridges, see Chapter Four.
For instructions on how to clean the endorser and how often to do so, see
Chapter Three.
