The transport may be equipped with:
• a rear endorser only, or
• both a rear endorser and a front endorser.
Caution: Ensure that the new ink cartridges reach room temperature before using them.
Ink cartridges will not work properly if they are cold.
Replacing the Ink Cartridge

This section tells you how to replace an ink cartridge. The procedure for
changing the front and rear ink cartridges is the same.
Replace the ink cartridge when you get an Endorser “Device Media Empty”
message on the screen. The message will specify whether it is the front or
rear ink cartridge.
Make sure that when you replace a cartridge that the new cartridge has the
same color of ink as the old cartridge.
Caution: If you get ink on yourself or the machine, please clean the ink off promptly
with soap and water. The faster you clean up, the less staining occurs.
1 Open the endorser covers.
Note: The rear ink cartridge is under the rear cover and the front ink
cartridge under the front cover.
2 Press the Load Cartridge button to raise the print cartridges.
