The transport can move up to 300 documents per minute down the track. All
that paper moving that fast can leave a lot of dust and paper bits lying around.
Note: Dust and debris in the track or on the devices can cause jammed
documents, poor images, and misread codelines, so it is important to keep
the transport clean.
The following procedures should be performed daily to keep the transport
operating at peak performance. Some procedures will be done during
processing, as required:
• vacuum the track
• clean the track
• clean any staples or other debris from the track
• clean the pocket drive rollers
• clean the image-lift modules
• clean the graphical endorser(s)
