Low-Speed Encoder Module

To remove a jammed document from the encoder module, try to roll the
document out to the left or right. If that doesn’t work, follow these steps.
1 Swing the module cover up to the right until it stays open.
2 With one hand, for each roller where the document is caught, pull the
idler arm to take pressure off the roller. With the other hand, carefully
free the document.
Note: If a document is caught by two or more rollers, roll the document to
the left or right to get it loose. Do not pull too hard on the document - you
may rip the document or the encoding ribbon.
3 Remove the document from the encoder compartment and close the
module cover.
Graphical Endorser Module

To remove a jammed document from the graphical endorser module follow
these steps.
1 Swing the front module cover up to the right until it stays open.
2 If the document is caught in the rollers to the left or the rear endorser,
pull open the track guide and lift out the document.
3 If the document is caught at the rear endorser:
a Pull open the track at the endorser and push the roller guide away
from the track.
b Pull the document up and out.
