Start-of-Day Cleaning Procedure
3-8 NCR iTRAN 180es/300es/600 Operator’s Guide
1 Lift the hinged cover of the Image Lift and open it to open.
2 Vacuum the area to remove any paper dust.
3 Pull straight up on the white reference rods to remove them, then set
them aside.
4 Carefully pull one of the glass windows up out of the top of the image
camera.
5 Wipe off any dust with a dry cleaning tissue. If there are fingerprints or
smudges, wipe them off with a moist tissue.
6 Carefully replace the glass in its slot.
7 Clean the second glass window in the same way. Clean the reference
rods, all the way around, with a dry lens-cleaning tissue.
