3. Remove drain plug from fuel tank and drain tank.

wire and fuel hoses. Tank can now be removed from area for cleaning and
inspection.
NOTICE! Use care when handling the sending unit to prevent damaging it.
3.8.2 Cleaning and Inspection
1. Install drain plug on bottom of tank.
2. Pour a detergent and water solution into tank.
3. Agitate mixture by rotating tank. Make sure solution contacts entire interior
surfaces of tank.
