C-6 TRANSMISSION SERVICE
7. Install and tighten converter housing-to-engine attaching bolts to 40-50 ft-lbs.
8. Remove transmission jack safety chain from around transmission.
9. Position transmission support crossmember to frame side rails and tighten attaching
bolts.
10. Position transmission rear support and insulator assembly above cross member and
lower transmission into place. Install mounting bolts and tighten.
