1.
Install the servo cover and O-ring
seal.
2.
Install the J 29714-A servo cover
depressor.
3.
Tighten the bolt on the J 29714-
A servo cover depressor in order to
compress the servo cover.
4.
Install the servo cover retaining
ring.
5.
Remove the J 29714-A servo cover
depressor from the oil pan flange.
Caution: Refer to Fastener
Caution.
6.
Install the oil pan bolt and tighten to
11 N·m (97 lb in) .
7.
Install the 2 heat shield retaining
bolts and the heat shield from the
transmission then tighten to
17 N·m (13 lb ft) .
8.
Lower the vehicle.
9.
Fill the transmission to the proper
le
vel with DEXRON® VI
transmission fluid.
