Recording
format
AVI formats (Motion JPEG, Compression rate fixed).
A movie can be appended at the end of the last
recorded movie.
Can be played on the Windows Media Player.
(Provided that the Windows Media Player Ver.7 or later
and Direct X7.1 or later are installed)
Character
superimpose
The date/time, title, note and OLYMPUS logo
displayed on the screen can be superimposed on the
image.
Recording time Depending on the recording card capacity and subject.
Audio recording Can be selected simultaneously with moving image
recording.
Restrictions Moving image playback guaranteed only when one of
the recommended recording cards or USB memory is
used.

playback
Audio playback When a moving image containing audio recording is
played, the recorded audio will be played
simultaneously.
Play/stop
moving images
Every time the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick is pressed the
moving image pauses or starts playing. Also, while an
image is paused, each tilt of the [MEAS/ENTER]
joystick skips as follows: skip 1 minute forward or
backward by tilting up or down, and skip 1 second
forward or backward by tilting right or left. From the first
(last image), you can display the last (first) image by
returning (advancing).
Restrictions Images recorded on IPLEX YS can be retrieved.
Images in a different TV format cannot be played even
when they were recorded with the IPLEX YS.
Moving image files that have been moved or copied to
a USB memory from a recording card or internal
memory cannot be played even if they were recorded
using the IPLEX YS.
