A front panel ribbon cable malfunction
• Check the heartbeat.
• Check that the front panel keys
beep when pressed.
• Check the system power.
• Use OMNIPANEL to verify the flow
computer is functioning properly.
• If there is normal front panel
functionality through OMNIPANEL,
check the front panel ribbon cable:
− Inspect for damage to cable and
no bent pins.
− Verify the cable is installed with
the correct orientation
No key press beeps
Keypress functions for screen
navigation includes a beep
with each key press
Front panel is faulty
• Replace the front panel with a spare
to test.
