7 Adjusting Settings
Username and screen color
e ID screen settings are used to identify your PDM. Identifying the PDM as
yours prior to using it helps ensure that you use the PDM that is tuned to control
your Pod and that is programmed with your personal settings.
To change your ID screen settings:
1. Home > Settings > System setup > PDM options > ID screen
2. Choose ID and press Select. Enter the username you would like the PDM to
display on the ID screen (see "Entering text" on page 6). Press Save.
3. Choose Screen color and press Select. Highlight the desired screen color and
press Select.
Storing brief notes
You can store up to 20 lines of personal notes in the PDM, such as phone numbers,
addresses, or prescription information. To view these notes, press the Info button
from the Home screen.
1. Home > My records > My info
2. Highlight [My info] and press Edit. Enter the information you would like to
store (see "Data Entry" on page 6), then press Save.
Vibrate and sound options
e PDM treats alarms and notications dierently. For safety reasons, alarms
are always audible and cannot be set to vibrate; however, you can control whether
certain notication beep or vibrate.
To change how the PDM issues BG reminders, missed bolus reminders, custom
reminders, and "No active Pod" reminders:
1. Home > Settings > Vibration
2. Highlight your preferred option:
Vibrate Vibration only
Vibrate then beep If you do not respond aer two rounds of vibrating
reminders, the PDM beeps for subsequent reminders
O (Beep only) No vibration, just beeps
3. Press Select.
