7 Adjusting Settings
Program reminders
If program reminders are on, the Pod beeps every 60 minutes while a temp
basal or extended bolus is in progress. See page 101 for more information about
program reminders.
1. Home > Settings > System setup > Alerts/reminders >Program reminders
2. To enable program reminders, choose On and press Select.
3. To disable program reminders, choose O and press Select.
Exception: You cannot turn o beeps that occur during an ongoing temp basal set
to deliver no (zero) insulin.
Condence reminders
Turn on condence reminders to have the Pod beep at the start and end of a bolus,
an extended bolus, and a temp basal. Condence notications are especially
useful when you are getting familiar with your PDM and Pod. See page 101 for
more information about condence reminders.

2. To enable condence reminders, choose On and press Select.
3. To disable condence reminders, choose O and press Select.

Custom reminders
A custom reminder consists of a name and a time of day. You can set a one-time
custom reminder or have the reminder repeat daily. Custom reminders repeat
every 15 minutes until acknowledged. You can set up to four custom reminders.
