7 Adjusting Settings
Bolus presets
Bolus presets allow you to store commonly used bolus amounts for quick retrieval
in the future. Bolus presets are only used if the Bolus Calculator is o๎.
A bolus preset only stores the total number of units of insulin in a bolus. You will
specify whether the bolus should be extended or not when you activate it.
You can set up to seven bolus presets. A bolus preset cannot exceed your
Maximum Bolus.
Create a new bolus preset
1. Home > Settings > Presets > Bolus presets
2. Highlight [add new] and press New.
3. Enter a name for the new bolus preset (see "Entering text" on page 6), and
press Next.
4. Use the Up/Down button to enter the amount of the bolus, and press Next.
5. Press Save.
Edit or rename a bolus preset
1. Home > Settings > Presets > Bolus presets
2. Highlight the bolus preset that you want to edit, then press Edit.
3. To rename the preset, highlight Rename, and press Select. ๎en enter a new
name (see "Entering text" on page 6), and press Next.
4. To change the value of the preset, highlight Edit, and press Select.
5. Use the Up/Down button to enter the new value for the bolus, and press Save.
Delete a bolus preset
1. Home > Settings > Presets > Bolus presets
2. Highlight the bolus preset that you want to delete, then press Edit.
3. Highlight Delete, and press Select.
4. Press Delete.
