8-2-2 PLC Backup Tool Operations
z Backing Up Data
The data in the connected PLC can be backed up to the computer as a batch. A folder named with the
date and time will be automatically created under the user-specified folder, and the backup files will be
created in that folder.
z Comparing Data
Data in backup files can be compared with data from other backup files or data from connected PLC.
The comparison results will be displayed.
Backup files can be restored after the comparison results have been displayed. Also, the comparison
results can be saved in a CSV file.
All Units in the PLC are displayed here.
Individual Units can be selected for backup.
Specify the source backup file on the
computer.
Specify the target PLC or backup file to compare.
PLC: The currently connected PLC will be
displayed as the target.
File: Specify another backup file on the computer
as the target.
