5 No-load Operation
·Starttheno-loadmotor(i.e.,notconnectedtothemechanicalsystem)usingtheDigital
Operator.
Note BeforeoperatingtheDigitalOperator,checkthattheFREQadjusterissettoMIN.

Explanation
Monitors the frequency reference.
Press the RUN Key. The RUN Indicator will be lit.
Turn the FREQ adjuster clockwise slowly.
The monitored frequency reference will be
displayed.
The motor will start rotating in the forward direction
according to the frequency reference.
Press the MODE Key to turn ON the F/R indicator.
For” will be displayed.
Use the Increment or Decrement Key to change the
direction of motor rotation. The direction of motor
rotation selected will be enabled when the display is
changed after the Key is pressed.
·After changing the frequency reference or the rotation direction,check that there is no
vibration or abnormal sound from the motor.
·Check that no faults have occurred in the Inverter during operation.
H Stopping the Motor
·On completion of operating the motor in the no-load state in the forward or reverse
direction, press the STOP/RESET Key. The motor will stop. (The RUN indicator will
flash until the motor stops.)
6 Actual Load Operation
·After checking the operationwith the motor inno-load status, connectthemechanical
system and operate with an actual load.
Note BeforeoperatingtheDigitalOperator,checkthattheFREQadjusterissettoMIN.
H Connecting the System
·After confirming that the motor has stopped completely, connect the mechanical sys-
tem.
·Be sure to tighten allthe screws when fixing themotor axis inthe mechanical system.
