2.7 Starting the System for the First Time

1. Plug the AC power cord into the system and an AC outlet.
2. Turn the Power Switch on. (The power indicator will light.)
3. Perform the following operation with a proprietary telephone
connected to JACK 01.
a) Press the PROGRAM button.
b) Dial #.
c) Enter the system password, 1234.
d) Enter 999.
e) Press NEXT (SP-PHONE button).
f) Keep pressing SELECT (AUTO ANSWER/MUTE button)
until “All Para” is displayed.
g) Press STORE (AUTO DIAL/STORE button).
h) Press END (HOLD button).
i) Press the PROGRAM button.
The system will be initialized with the default values. If the system
does not work properly, see “2.9, System Data Clear”.
CAUTION • The system will continue to be powered even if the Power Switch is
turned “OFF”.
• The power supply cord is used as the main disconnect device. Ensure
that the outlet is located/installed near the equipment and is easily
accessible.
When leaving the product unused for a
long time, turn off the Power Switch of
the unit and remove the AC power cord
from the wall socket for energy
conservation.
