MacBAT 5 USER GUIDE. Version 1.0
Once installed, device does not require special actions and supervision. Proper installation guarantees uninterruptible work of the device
within its full lifetime. Device requires only periodical examination according to EN 60079-17 standard.
Periodical examination frequency: minimum once a year. Close eye inspection required.
Spontaneous examination frequency: adjusted depending on environmental conditions. Detailed close eye inspection required.
In some certain conditions device can work improperly, due to lasting alarms or configuration mistakes. In the table there are presented
most common appearing malfunctions with reasons and solutions for these.

Re-enter the battery in the device
Ensure the divider had been removed
Device does not measure
pressure/temperature
Pressure temperature over the range
Install the device in the field where sensors
ranges are sufficient
Replace the device with different range

Despite connected power supply device
remains in battery mode
Insufficient power supply source
Check if the power supply source is
compatible with the device.
Check in the events list if there is event
“Insufficient power source”.
Replace power source to the one compatible

Device does not communicate through

Wrong baudrate set
Turn on the display
Activate optical interface
Replace optical interface
Ensure baudrate is set correctly
