MacBAT 5 USER GUIDE. Version 1.0
Introduction:
Device is equipped with up to three transmission ports. COM1: RS485 or RS232, COM2: RS485, COM3: Optical interface.
Another communication port is NFC, which does not require any configuration.
To setup the transmission ports:
Go to Main menu by pressing Enter
Navigate to menu Configuration Transmission COM1/COM2/Optical
Press Enter on parameters to change their values
Available options based on COM1:
COM1Bps baudrate of serial port (up to 256000b/s for Optical interface up to 38400b/s)
COM1Adr address of serial port
COM1 and COM2 ports work only while external power supply is connected to terminals 1 and 2 or 3 and 4 to supply
only COM ports. Optical port works uninterruptedly. Using COM on battery is available for COM1 for 15 minutes when
the device housing is opened and alarm “CASE OPEN” is active.
