MacBAT 5 – USER GUIDE. Version 1.0
ConfIT! Is a software designed for configuration and diagnostic of PLUM devices. The
user-friendly graphic interface allows basic and extended configuration. ConfIT! supports local
firmware upgrade in PLUM devices without additional interfaces. It also stores a list of
previously connected devices and allows for quick navigation between them.
Full manual explaining ConfIT! software work and mechanism is available
as the auxiliary document. Read the manual starting device configuration.
To connect with the device use serial communication on RS485 ports or Optical interface using
Optical Head – e.g. OptoBTEx
When device is working in Ex Zone already – do not connect the RS485 communication interface directly to the device.
Connect the interface to safety barrier, e.g. INT-S3 interface.
When device is configured on the table it is possible to use e.g. USB-RS485 interface directly with the device. Connect
the 5V supply from the interface to terminals 3-4 – COM SUPPLY to power up the ports.
