Device approved to be installed must have the same serial number on the physical nameplate, certificate of metrological
properties and digital nameplate achievable on LCD.
One of the devices variant is assembled in accordance with Directive 2014/32/EU of the European Parliament and of
the Council of 26 February 2014 on the harmonisation of the laws of the Member States relating to the making available
on the market of measuring instruments (recast) – MID which is related to volume converters used for home,
commercial and industrial utilities.
Device assembled in conformity with MID has additional marking on the nameplate. Close to CE marking it is additional
M marking with last 2 digits of production year.
According to MID directive it is allowed to use the connection boxes, overvoltage extinguishers and Zenner barriers. It
is required for these components to be designed to work in enclosure.
To install MacBAT 5 on the gas meter it is required to use relevant cables to these used in gas meter. Before the
installation familiarize with technical documentation of gas meter which contains detailed information about installation
conditions and cables types.
It is forbidden to install the device in vicinity of strong magnetic fields.
All products bearing this symbol are waste electrical and electronic equipment (Directive 2012/19/EU of the European
Parliament and of the Council of 4 July 2012 on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)) which should not be mixed
with unsorted household waste. Instead, you should protect human health and the environment by handing over your waste
equipment to a designated collection point for the recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment, appointed by the
government or local authorities. Correct disposal and recycling will help prevent potential negative consequences to the
environment and human health. Please contact the installer or local authorities for more information about the location as
well as terms and conditions of such collection points.
