MacBAT 5 – USER GUIDE. Version 1.0
Making the changes using the passwords every time instead of unlocking the switch or to inputting the changes to the device once the lock
is sealed:
MacBAT 5 authorization is based on system of rising privileges accounts, where level 0 is the lowest – no access, up to level 9 – Producer,
full access to the device without any limitations. Default account is level 4 – called in the device Administrator, and number of this account
is 401 (available by default) up to 406. Administrator level is enough to perform configuration important from the installation point of view.
Default password for this account – and also lower ones – Customer – 301 and Reader – 201 is 4096. This password can be changed in the
process of configuration.
By default user is logged out – no access to EVC modification. Once logged user will stay as the logged in until turning off the display. Each
modification requires typing the password. After logging in from the keyboard no further authorization is required until turning off the
display. Information about current login level is presented on the display in form of L1 to L9 icon on top status bar.
Every configurable parameter is listed in the MacBAT 5 Data structure document, along with the level of privileges required to modify
successfully the value.
Available accounts in the system with short description:
• Producer – level 9: highest level of privileges, single people in Manufacturers premises has the access to this account. Full unlimited
access to EVC parameters.
• Metrologist – level 7: full user access. Protected by MID sealing. Operating on this level by the user causes loss of MID conformity
check. Privileges: full from lower accounts, access to MID protected parameters, base conditions change, pressure and temperature
inputs calibration, disconnecting and turning off the pressure and temperature inputs. Constant level 7 login available when MET
switch is unlocked.
• Administrator – level 4: full administrator access. Login available from keyboard with default password. Privileges: full from lower
accounts, configuration of the device, pulse factor, pulse inputs, Vm change, limits for pressure and temperature, digital inputs and
outputs configuration. Constant level 4 login available when CFG switch is unlocked.
• Customer – level 3: customer access. Login available from keyboard with default password. Privileges: full from lower accounts,
time settings, transmission parameters, flow limits.
• Reader – level 2: reader access. Login available from keyboard with default password. Privileges: data readout.
• Basic – level 1: penalty access. Level granted when modification on higher level fails 5 times – wrong password. Along exists event:
Login error. This level is granted for 15 minutes.
• Logout – level 0: Default state after waking the device up.
