ATTENTION!
Damage to the measuring device possible due to loading of signals outside the
specification.
Only connect signal sources to the analog measuring channel, whose output sig-
nals are within the specification ("Technical data" on page 82).
Connecting the cable
All cables used with VIBSCANNER 2 are protected against polarity reversal. A red dot mark
on the plug is used to align it to the socket.
Connecting the safety release cable to VIBSCANNER 2
Fold away the cover cap on the connection socket.
Align the plug to the connection socket so that the red dot marks are aligned.
Push in the plug until it stops.
Only if you carry along the VIBSCANNER 2 in the carrying pouch:
Open the Velcro fastener for strain relief on the back of the carrying pouch.
Place the cable in the strain relief and close the Velcro fastener tightly.
Connecting the sensor cable
Connect the sensor cable to the safety release cable. Proceed analogously to the
section above.
Disconnecting the cable
Note
The plug has no mechanical locking mechanism.
Grasp the cable on the plug.
Hold the safety release cable and/or the device using the other hand.
Pull the cable out of the socket applying sufficient force.
