Procedure
Open the route.
Hold the measuring device with the front end into the close range of the transpon-
der (approx. 2-3 cm). VIBSCANNER 2 reads the code and activates the respective
measurement location in the machine image view.
Connect the sensor to the device and the measurement location.
Start the measurement.
The RFID reader captures the code of the transponder without contact.
4.5.4 Teaching in RFID transponder
Unlike the VIBCODE method, the code is not configured in the OMNITREND Center soft-
ware for the RFID method.
Read the transponder directly on site and transfer the code together with the recorded
measurement data to the OMNITREND Center software.
Prerequisite

The measurement locations are equipped with PRÜFTECHNIK transponders.

The route with the RFID measurement locations is available in VIBSCANNER 2.
Procedure
Open the Route menu.
Tap and hold on the route, until the context menu appears.
Tap on [Teach in]. The teach in mode is activated. The icon appears in the
status bar.
Go to to every measurement location equipped with an RFID transponder.
Navigate to the respective measurement location on the route.
Tap on the measurement location icon to activate it.
Hold the device to the transponder. The [Assign RFID tag] dialog window appears.
