2.5 Rechargeable battery
VIBSCANNER 2 is supplied by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which is installed in the
device during the entire service life. With a fully charged rechargeable battery, the op-
erating time is typically 12 hours in continuous measuring operation.
2.5.1 Battery status
The battery status is shown on the display using a colored battery icon. The remaining bat-
tery power is displayed as percentage value. This option can be activated in the device set-
tings: [Settings > Power options > Show battery percentage].
The display is switched off in sleep mode. The remaining battery power is then indicated
by a slowly pulsating LED below the display. If the battery charge drops below a certain
level, the measuring device switches off automatically. This ensures that the data and set-
tings saved on the device remain preserved.

Note
The battery status indicator flashes if the battery power drops below 10 %. The
lower the battery power, the faste the flashing rate.
