4.5 Coded measurement locations
The device detects coded measurement locations reliably based on their individual iden-
tification code and automatically calls the intended measurement tasks.
4.5.1 VIBCODE sensor for vibration measurement
A measurement with the VIBCODE sensor starts automatically, as soon as the sensor is
connected to the tagged measurement location. Compliance with a certain sequence dur-
ing processing of the measurement locations is not required.
ATTENTION!
The VIBCODE sensor may be damaged in the case of improper use. Observe the
operating notes in the VIBCODE operating instructions (VIB9.834.G).
Prerequisite

VIBCODE measurement locations are contained in the route.

The VIBCODE sensor is configured as sensor for measurements at VIBCODE meas-
urement locations.
Procedure
Open the route. The [Route summary ...] screen appears.
Connect the VIBCODE sensor to the device and the VIBCODE measurement loc-
ation. The VIBCODE sensor reads the code of the measurement location and starts
the intended measurement task.
Disconnect the VIBCODE sensor after the measurement.
Connect the VIBCODE sensor to the next VIBCODE measurement location.
Repeat the procedure for all other VIBCODE measurement locations.
Connect the VIBCODE sensor to the VIBCODE measurement location.
