4.2 Loading the route onto the measuring device
You must load the necessary information regarding the individual measurements onto
the measuring device prior to starting data acquisition. This information is saved in a so-
called route, which is created and managed using the OMNITREND Center PC software.
4.2.1 Transferring the route via OMNITREND Center
VIBSCANNER 2 and OMNITREND Center must communicate directly for this method.
Procedure
Switch on VIBSCANNER 2.
Connect VIBSCANNER 2 with the PC with OMNITREND Center installed. Use the en-
closed USB cable with Micro USB connection.
Start OMNITREND Center.
Note
The following steps describe the sequences in OMNITREND Center.
Open the [Communication perspective].
Open the [Routes] view.
Select database (1), which contains the route, in the local icon bar.
Set the measuring device filter (2) to VIBSCANNER 2.
Mark the route to be transferred.
Click on [Send Route to Device] (4). A dialog window appears.
