Select the sensor intended for the vibration measurement locations in the [Sensor
assignment] (1) field.
Click on [Finish] (2). The route is compiled, checked for inconsistencies, and then
transferred onto the measuring device.
Note
If the route already exists on the measuring device, an error message occurs and
the route is not transferred. Delete the route from the measuring device and re-
peat the transfer.
4.2.2 Transferring route via file system
No direct communication between VIBSCANNER 2 and OMNITREND Center is required for
this method. The route is exported as file first. The route file can be transferred onto
VIBSCANNER 2 at a later point in time.
Exporting route to file system
Open the [Routes] view in OMNITREND Center (see section above).
Click on [Export to file system] (3) in the local icon bar. A dialog window ap-
pears.
Select the [Folder], into which the route should be exported.
Click on [Finish]. The route is compiled, checked for inconsistencies, and saved in
the selected folder.
Loading route into VIBSCANNER 2
Switch on VIBSCANNER 2.
Connect VIBSCANNER 2 to the PC containing the route. Use the enclosed USB cable
with Micro USB connection.
Open Windows Explorer.
