theimagetobezoomedsothatanalternativeareaisdisplayed.
Fromtheshnderapplication,withZoompresetselected:
1.SelectMenu.
2.SelectAdjustPreset<mode>,where<mode>isthepreset
alreadyselected.
3.SelectDisplayMode.
4.SelectZoomPosition.
Themanualzoompositionmenuisdisplayed.
5.SelectZoomPosition.
Selectingthezoompositionmenuwillswitchthezoomposition
betweenAutoandManual.
6.IfManualischosenusetheRotaryControltorepositionthe
zoomedareaasrequired.

TheA-Scopemodeenablesyoutoviewalive(ratherthanhistorical)
imageoftheseabedandshdirectlybelowyourvessel.
Thestandardshnderdisplayshowsahistoricalrecordofshnder
echoes.Ifrequired,youcandisplayaliveimageofthebottom
structureandtheshdirectlybelowthetransducerbyusingthe
A-Scopefeature.ThewidthofthebottomcoveredbytheA-Scope
isindicatedatthebottomofthewindow.A-Scopeprovidesamore
preciseandeasiertointerpretindicationofthetargetstrength.

TheBottomLockfunctionappliesaltertoattentheimageofthe
seabedandmakeanyobjectsonorjustaboveiteasiertodiscern.
Thisfeatureisparticularlyusefulforndingshthatfeedcloseto
thebottom.
BottomLockisselectedforindividualshnderwindowsand
canreplaceorappearalongsidethestandardshnderimage.
Adjustingtherangeofthebottomlockimageallowsyoutoview
morebottomdetails.Youcanalsorepositiontheimageonscreento
anywherebetweenthebottomofthewindow(0%)andthemiddleof
thewindow(50%)byusingtheBottomShiftcontrol.
BottomLockisselectedforindividualshnderwindowsandcan
eitherreplace(ON)orappearalongside(SPLIT)thestandard
shnderimage.
