3 Preparing to install the STD 22 Gyro Compass
To ensure that the STD 22 Gyro Compass is installed and put into operation correctly,
these instructions must be followed in the order in which they appear.
It must not be installed or put into operation whilst at sea.
3.1 STD 22 Compass – Scope of Supply
The scope of supply consists of:

---- Supporting liquid
---- Gyrosphere (111--006)

The STD 22 Gyro Compass is used in conjunction with at least the following items of
equipment:
-- Distribution Unit 138--118 (separate manual)
-- Operator Unit 130--613 (separate manual)
